Could This Cost Santorum his Seat?

Is it possible that Rick Santorum's active campaigning against
fellow conservative Toomey in the Specter primary two years ago will be a factor in his possible loss? Casey is drawing 27% of the conservative vote. Rick is a principled guy, but supporting RINOs always ends up biting you. Of course, Specter went out of his way to return the favor by continously giving the conservative base the finger after his re-election in 2004.
